Santa Cruz 36.58N, 122.01W
Santa Cruz is located on the central Pacific coastline,
on the north side of Monterey Bay, 74 miles south of San Francisco. Santa Cruz
is the seat of Santa Cruz County and part of the Santa Cruz-Watsonville PMSA
(Primary Metropolitan Statistical Area) and San Francisco-Oakland-San Jose CMSA
(Consolidated Metropolitan Statistical Area). The north end of Santa Cruz
County - Scotts Valley - is the southern terminus of the "Silicon
Valley".
