Below: The Waters House in Honcut, Butte County, California in the 1800s. Owned by William John Waters, it was destroyed by fire in the early 1890s. One hundred years later, Waters' grandson, Roy-Ami Hamlin, constructed a replica in Moss Landing where his business partner, Nathan Sawyer, currently operates an antique dealership (see second and third pictures below). |
